Mission Statement:

To advocate the use of the Public Airwaves for more C-SPAN Companion Newtworks.

To advocate the reclaimation of portions of the broadcast spectrum to create 10 new C-SPAN Companion Networks.

To petition congress to hold hearings on " The State of the Airwaves ".

To determine if broadcast companies and cable networks have lived up to the code of creating decent programming in the spirit of, "...the Public Interest, Necessity, and Convenience."

To examine whether broadcasters and cable companies are- "...making so much money doing it's worst, it can't afford to do better. "- Fred Friendly.

After finding that the airwaves are, as Newton Menow said, "...a Vast Toxic Wasteland." the broadcasters and cable companies should be required by congress on behalf of the American Public, to "donate" enough spectrum for 10 new C-SPAN Companion Networks.

The airwaves belong to the Public. They are "given away, rent free".

The broadcasters, the stewards of the airwaves, make billions of dollars with the Public Airwaves, and produce very little, if any, decent television.

If out of 500 channels, 13 were C-SPAN COMPANION NETWORKS, that's the least the congress could do. This would give congress the chance to make right what they have auctioned off and given away.
